For the second-straight week, Central Michigan forward Reyna Frost picked up the Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week award.

The 6-foot senior averaged 18.5 points, 12.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists in two games at the recent Miami Holiday Classic, which the Chippewas split two games – defeating No. 24 Miami. She was named to the all-tournament team.

In CMU's 11-point loss to Tulane, Frost had a season-high 15 rebounds. She put up a season-high 25 points in a 90-80 win against the Hurricanes on Dec. 30.

"There's the size of the heart and there's no fear," CMU coach Sue Guevara said of Frost. "I think that's half the battle. You go in and you go in confidently. And the other thing is, she's put in the work. And that's the bottom line. I think it probably bodes well for her at the next level.

Seven days ago, Frost earned the player of the week award by posting 22 points and 13 rebounds, shooting 9-of-16 from the field, 2-for-8 from 3-point range and 2-for-2 from the free throw line in a 72-68 loss to No. 3 Louisville.

Frost added two assists, two steals and one block in that game.

Frost has six MAC West Player of the Week awards in her career and three this season alone. She is three boards away from breaking the MAC all-time record for career rebounds.
