#TBT: Students wait to buy books at University Center Bookstore on Jan. 14, 1998
On Jan. 14, 1998, Central Michigan Life published a photo of Central Michigan University students waiting in line at the University Center Bookstore on the day before class, Jan. 13. The line of customers shows about 15 different students waiting to be checked out.
Many students wait until the first day of class to decide whether to purchase a book or not. Bookstore employees said the first week and last week of the semester are the busiest.
Today, the bookstore will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. for its back to school hours.
