For the third time this season, Central Michigan's Denelle Pedrick has been named the Mid-American Conference Gymnast of the Week.

The Wilcox, Saskatchewan native led the Chippewas to a victory over Kent State in a MAC dual on Feb. 10. She posted an all-around score of 39.275. That score is tied for the highest by any gymnast in the MAC this season.

The junior tied for first on the vault and the balance beam against the Golden Flashes with 9.800 and 9.850, respectively.

She also scored a 9.850 on the floor exercise, which was a season-high for her. She finished second in the meet. Finally, Pedrick took third on the uneven parallel bars with a 9.775 posting.

Pedrick and the Chippewas are 9-1 overall and 2-0 in conference. The Chippewas get set to take on in-state foe Eastern Michigan at 7 p.m. Feb. 15 at McGuirk Arena for their first home meet in over a month.
