Mount Pleasant police try to identify Wayside assault suspect

The Mount Pleasant Police Department is requesting the help of Central Michigan University students and community members to identify a man who is a suspect in an assault case. 

MPPD officials received information of an assault that occurred at Wayside Central, located on 2000 S Mission St., on Feb. 2.

The victim of the assault reported the assault occurred between 12:30-1 a.m. Saturday morning. After viewing surveillance video from inside the bar, officers determined the person of interest is a white male with medium build and short dark hair between the ages of 18-24.
