Mount Pleasant Kroger to close in May
The Mount Pleasant Kroger has announced that it is closing on May 25.
The grocery store, located in the Indian Hills Plaza at 4080 E. Blue Grass Rd., is closing because of "financial instability," according to a press release. Kroger said 81 employees will lose their jobs.
“These decisions are never easy and are evaluated over time based upon financial instability,” the statement read.
The Mount Pleasant location manager told CM Life he was not able to give a statement on the matter.
