Presley Hudson's dream of playing in the WNBA lasted two preseason games and has come to an abrupt end, at least for now.

Hudson, a former guard for the Central Michigan women's basketball team, was waived by the Seattle Storm May 22, as the team announced its 12-woman roster ahead of its May 25 season opener against the Phoenix Mercury.

In her two appearances in the preseason, Hudson was 4-of-8 from long range, including three triples and nine points in a 87-84 loss to Phoenix on May 15.

While at CMU, Hudson was the all-time leading scorer on both the men's and women's side with 2,309 points. She also helped lead the Chippewas to two appearances in the NCAA Tournament including the run to the Sweet 16 in 2018.

Teana Muldrow, Macy Miller and Recee' Caldwell were also among those who were waived by the Storm.
