For the second year in a row, WCMU Public Television won a regional Emmy for its long-running program, "Destination Michigan."

The program received the award from the Michigan Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences on June 15 in Detroit.

"Destination Michigan" has been broadcast for 10 years. It has won a regional Emmy twice and has been nominated 14 times.

"It is the willingness of people to open their doors and share their stories with us that pulls viewers back week after week," said Chris Ogozaly, the show's executive producer. "The entire 'Destination Michigan' crew gives credit to our viewers, and the people we visit with on the road, for making this honor possible."
