Alice O’Hagan earns All-MAC honors

Central Michigan's freshman midfielder Alice O’Hagan was named to the 2019 field hockey All-Mid-American Conference Second Team. 

O’Hagan, a native of West Clandon, Surrey, England, led the team this season with six goals, including three in her first two games. She finished eighth in the MAC in scoring. Her team-high 20 shots on goal ranked ninth in the MAC.

With 14 points, O'Hagan leads the Chippewas and is tied for third on the team with two assists. 

The Chippewas open Mid-American Conference Tournament play against Appalachian State at noon Wednesday at the Field Hockey Complex at Miami (Ohio). 

CMU lost the regular season matchup against the Mountaineers, 5-2, on Oct. 4 at the CMU Field Hockey Complex. O'Hagan scored both Chippewa goals in the loss.
