Perry Fish/Staff Photographer Mount Pleasant EMS and Firefighters secure 73-year-old Mount Pleasant resident Linda Hardy to a backboard after she was struck by a Ford Freestyle, Thursday afternoon on East Broomfield. Mount Pleasant Police Sgt. Sarah Cuthbertson said the call was received at 1:01PM and that Hardy suffered a head injury as well as a leg injury. Hardy was taking a walk with her husband, 87-year-old Clifford Hardy when she was hit. "You never know when anything is going to happen," Clifford said. "I hope she is alright."
