On the first play of the fourth quarter against South Alabama, redshirt sophomore quarterback Jase Bauer broke a tackle in the backfield to then deliver a 70-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Jesse Prewitt III to put the Chippewas up by 10.

With 18 seconds left in the game, quarterback Jase Bauer took the snap looking like he was going to throw. Instead he charged up the middle for four yards and the touchdown putting Central Michigan ahead of South Alabama in the final seconds Saturday.
