Student Government Association looks into ARAMARK contract
he Board of Trustees will decide in March if the contract will be extended for another two years.
At the Board of Trustees meeting Dec. 6 the ARAMARK contract was going to come up for renewal. They are looking into why some campuses with ARAMARK food service have certain features and others do not.
We are in the early stages now, so we dont have any details, he said.
SGAs Student Services Committee is accepting student opinions on all issues to do with dining services, including the dining commons, the Down Under Food Court and catering.
Those opinions can be turned into the SGA Office in the lower level of the Bovee University Center.

- Open Recruitment for sororities begins Monday.
- The SGA Diversity Committee will be hosting an open forum from 4 to 8 p.m. today in the BUC Auditorium.
- The Volunteer Center has planned the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service for Jan. 22.
- The SGA Academic Affairs Committee will be hosting an open forum at 8 p.m. Jan. 23 in the BUC Lake Michigan Room to address any student concerns on academic issues.
- Orientation mentor applications are available in the Student Service Court and are due Feb. 1.
- Feb. 8 through Feb. 10 is Siblings Weekend. Registration forms are available in the Office of Student Life. Volunteers also are needed.
