We should get creative with field hockey woes
Of course a brand new field hockey facility would be wonderful! But given the university’s budget crisis, we should be more creative.
How about building just the playing surface itself first and use temporary bleachers and whatever else is absolutely necessary to give the team a home field to play on? The rest of the facility could be completed in stages during the coming years, as funds become available. This would also allow time for an extended fund raising effort.
