Climate control system in Brooks Hall malfunctions, leaves classrooms cold
Students with classes in Brooks Hall later today may want to consider bringing a coat.
The HVAC control system, used to control the climate of the building, malfunctioned Wednesday night, said Vice President of Facilities Management Steve Lawrence, leaving many rooms and offices colder than usual.
“The system is not responding to thermostats properly and is operating in the cooling mode,” Lawrence said in an e-mail to Central Michigan Life. Contractors are currently on-site working on the issue.
