Couple frequents Max & Emily's, continues 25-year tradition
Chuck and Cindy Caszatt, 55, of Mount Pleasant, enjoyed lunch Sunday at Max and Emily's Eatery, 125 E. Broadway Street.
The couple has been frequenting Max & Emily's for more than two decades.
“We started coming here shortly after it opened in the early '80s," Cindy said. "The restaurant was known for its specialty cheesecakes (then). It all started when my husband knew the people that made the cheesecakes."
The couple agreed they like to come in to eat often, especially during the winter months.
“This place is so simple,” Cindy said. “The service is quick, the food is good and I always enjoy having a fresh cookie with a cappuccino.”
