Porn star Ron Jeremy to debate pastor at CMU on Feb. 19
The self-described "king" of the pornography industry, Ron Jeremy, will debate anti-porn pastor Craig Gross on Feb. 19th at 7 p.m. in Plachta Auditorium as a part of their nationwide "Great Porn Debate" tour.
According to their website, they have started to take the debate into churches after more than four years of touring together at universities nationwide, attempting to answer questions relating to porn addiction and whether or not porn empowers or degrades women.
Jeremy and Gross will share their opening statements and allow students to ask questions before concluding the debate with their closing arguments. Following the event, students will be able to meet them and ask for autographs.
The event is sponsored by CMU Program Board.
Jeremy previously visited CMU in 2006 while debating recovering pornography addict Michael Leahy about the porn industry.
