Crime log: April 5-7


The Mount Pleasant Police Department reported the following incidents between 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, and 11 p.m. on Monday, April 7.

 April 5

6:32 p.m. – A 38-year-old Sears man was cited for driving without insurance at 1999 Sweeney St.

9:07 p.m. – A 48-year-old Mount Pleasant woman was arrested for disorderly conduct at 225 S. Oak St. She was also charged with a probation violation.

11:57 p.m. – A 23-year-old Algonac man was arrested for cocaine possession and driving with a suspended license at 399 S. University St.

 April 6

 12:39 a.m. – A 20-year-old Commerce Township man was cited as a minor in possession of alcohol at 1006 S. Franklin St.

1:28 a.m. – A 19-year-old Allendale woman was charged for open intoxicants, and as a minor in possession of alcohol at 1021 S. Main St.

2:09 a.m. – A 21-year-old St. Louis man was arrested for aggravated assault at 2000 S. Mission St.

2:39 a.m. – A 21-year-old Clinton Township man was cited for urinating in public, and disorderly conduct at 2000 S. Mission St.

3:38 a.m. – A 20-year-old Shelby Township man and a 19-year-old Clinton Township man were both charged as minors in possession of alcohol, and for disorderly conduct at 1019 S. Franklin St.

9:29 p.m. – A 27-year-old New York man was arrested for resisting and obstructing, and for absconding parole at 1010 N. Fancher St.

 April 7

 12:56 a.m. – A 29-year-old Mount Pleasant man was arrested at 207 N. Court St. for failing to appear in court on a warrant of carrying a concealed weapon.

10:57 a.m. – A 28-year-old Mount Pleasant man appeared in Isabella County Trial Court on a bench warrant.
