Disney speaker will present leadership strategies


Former executive vice president of operations at Walt Disney World, Lee Cockerell, is coming to Central Michigan University on Wednesday, Sept. 30 to speak about leadership and customer service.

Three separate presentations will take place in McGuirk Arena free of charge. Cockerell will share the philosophy behind Disney Great Leadership Strategies, which is same program used to train leaders at Disney World.

From 10-11:15 a.m. Cockerell will speak on service excellence and customer service. From 2:30-3:45 p.m. leadership and management will be discussed, and leadership and customer service will be discussed at at 7:30 p.m.

Cockerell will also have a book signing that will follow the last session.

The presentations were sponsored by nearly 20 groups on campus.
