April 17

Police were called to the Towers residence halls central desk after an unknown person made seven or eight calls during a 30-minute period. An officer spoke to the caller, who called him several insulting names. After talking to police, the man did not call again.  

Police cited an 18-year-old woman for minor in possession near the intersection of Washington Street and Ojibway Court.

A 22-year-old Mount Pleasant man was arrested for non-aggravated at Blue Gator Sports Pub and Grill. The man was allegedly intoxicated and punched a bouncer after he was asked to leave. The bouncer did not suffer any serious injuries. 

April 15

A 22-year-old Lake Orion man was lodged for disorderly conduct at McLaren Central Michigan. The man was intoxicated and removed his IV, was cursing, swearing, refusing directions and urinated on the hospital floor. 

April 14

A 23-year-old woman was lodged after shoving staff at Marty's Bar. 

Beddow Hall staff called police after detecting the odor of marijuana. A small amount of the drug was recovered from a dorm room along with a grinder. Two 19-year-old men and a 24-year-old man were referred to the Office of Student Conduct. 

April 13

A 31-year-old Edmore man was lodged for illegal entry after entering a private residence on Crawford Street. The man was intoxicated and did not have any intention to steal, police said.

A 19-year-old woman was cited for retail fraud after attempting to leave Meijer with a cart of groceries without paying. 

A 19-year-old woman lost a purse at Real Food on Campus. The woman returned, but the purse could not be found. The purse and its contents had an estimated value of $225. 

Police responded to a domestic violence incident in which a 31-year-old man choked a 22-year-old woman.The incident has been referred to the County Prosecutor. 

A 19-year-old Northville man was lodged after kicking a mirror off a vehicle, causing $300 in damage. The suspect and another 19-year-old man both ran when approached by police. Both were also lodged for resisting and obstructing.

An 18-year-old man was cited for minor in possession near Carey Hall.

April 12

Property was damaged on campus in Lot 4. The incident is still under investigation and details of the damage were unavailable.

A 56-year-old woman and 57-year-old man reported their taxes had been fraudulently filed.

A forged parking permit was discovered on the car of a 20-year-old man.The permit had been printed on paper. The incident was referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

April 11

A 19-year-old man was arrested at the Student Activity Center for failure to appear in court. The suspect had been charged with possession of marijuana in February.
