Amadio named MAC Co-Defensive Player of the Week
After sitting out the entire 2015 season as a freshman, sophomore field hockey goal keeper Lily Amadio has been named Mid-American Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Week.
In her first two collegiate performances this season, Amadio has recorded 15 saves while allowing 4 goals.
Amadio's 15 saves and her .789 save percentage are currently top in the MAC statistics leaderboard.
The Chippewas (0-2 overall) will be back in action on Thursday against Michigan State in East Lansing.
