Fresh off its first victory of the season against Quinnipiac in last Saturday's home opener, the Central Michigan field hockey team is set to encounter its toughest test of the season.

CMU (1-3) hosts No. 8 Louisville (4-0) today at 3 p.m.

Louisville enters the game ranked fifth in the nation in scoring average with 4.95 goals per game. CMU meanwhile, has struggled in the early this season in offensive productivity averaging only .96 goals per game.

Where the Chippewas have lacked in offense, goal keepers freshman Abigail Ebersole and sophomore Lily Amadio have made up for in saves. CMU's 8.25 saves per game is ranked12th in the country, while the Chippewas' .733 save percentage leads the Mid-American Conference.
