Moore earns MAC West Player of the Week
Junior forward Tinara Moore took home this week's Mid-American Conference Player of the Week.
The Southgate native, averaged 24.5 points, nine rebounds and six blocks to as the Central Michigan women's basketball team finished the week 1-1.
Moore scored 24 points, pulled down 15 rebounds and recorded a program-record nine blocks in the win against Northern Illinois on Feb. 22.
In CMU's loss to Ball State Saturday, Moore scored a team-high 25 points and recorded three blocks.
The Chippewas (21-7, 13-3 MAC) will take on rival Western Michigan at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Kalamazoo. A win against the Broncos will keep the Chippewas atop of the MAC West Division.
