Junior gymnast Katy Clements has been named to the All-Mid-American Conference Second Team, for the second season in a row.

The honor comes off a year where Clements claimed MAC Gymnast of the Week honors twice. Clements competed on vault, balance beam and floor for Central Michigan this season.

This season was the first time Clements competed on floor for the Chippewas. Last season, Clements competed on just the beam and vault.

This year, Clements averaged a 9.783 on vault, a 9.793 on beam and a 9.810 on floor. Over the season Clements set new career highs on all three events with a 9.850 on vault, a 9.925 on beam and a 9.925 on floor.

Clements and the Chippewas return to action for the MAC Championships this Saturday in Bowling Green, Ohio.
