Central Michigan Softball’s weekend series against Eastern Michigan has been moved to Ypsilanti due to an upcoming winter storm heisting Mount Pleasant this weekend.

CMU will face the Eagles in a doubleheader starting at noon on Friday, April 13.

The Chippewas look for their 19 win of the season after having their nine-game winning streak snapped in a 4-1 loss Wednesday against Western Michigan at Margo Jonker Stadium.

EMU is 7-29 this season and have won their three Mid-American Conference matches in their last five MAC contests.

This will be the final regular season matchup between the in-state rivals after EMU announced their softball program was one of four being cut due to budget issues on March 21.
