The Mount Pleasant Police Department sent out a press release Oct. 9 asking the public for help in identifying a credit fraud suspect.

Purchases totaling $1500 were made with a stolen credit card at PB Shell Gas Station, Marathon Gas Station, Menards and Walmart in and around Mount Pleasant.

The card owner lost their card on Sept. 23 and made a criminal complaint after he/she was alerted to fraudulent charges being made on the card.

The MPPD obtained photo and video of the unknown male suspect who made these purchases. He is between 25 and 35 years old, approximately 6 feet tall, has light facial hair, glasses, several tattoos on both forearms and a tattoo on the left side of his neck.

If you have any information regarding the identification of this suspect, you can contact the MPPD tip line at (989) 779-9111.
