UPDATE: CMU to remain closed Thursday, Feb. 7
UPDATE: After delaying class until 11 a.m., Central Michigan University decided to remain closed for the rest of the day at 9:30 a.m.
For the second straight day, Central Michigan University is delaying operations until 11 a.m. due to inclement weather in Mount Pleasant.
A decision will be made whether the rest of the day will be called off before 9:30 a.m. Feb. 7.
"This means the university is closed until 11 a.m. and that classes scheduled to begin before that time are canceled," CMU's alert reads.
Classes that begin at 11 a.m. are going to take place for now.
This delay comes just days after CMU shut down three days during the polar vortex that hit the Midwest last week.
