Jordon Ingram never imagined not signing with his St. Paul's Episcopal High School teammates on National Signing Day in early February.

Obtaining offers from West Virginia, Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Tennessee, Troy and Virginia Tech, the 2020 three-star running back from Alabama didn't sign a national letter of intent.

Ingram became one of the few top prospects left on the market.

"I sit here humbled and confused, as I didn't vision when this day came I wouldn't be celebrating with my friends and family as I revealed what university I would be attending," Ingram wrote on Twitter. "I just never imagined that I wouldn't be signing on the dotted line."

Just less than a month following the Feb. 5 National Signing Day, the 6-foot-1, 215-pound running back found a home.

Ingram is coming to Central Michigan and will be on scholarship.

He joins Myles Bailey and Marion Lukes as running backs in the 2020 class, giving the Chippewas three additions to the position coached by assistant Cornell Jackson.

Ingram is ranked No. 561 in the nation, No. 21 at his position and No. 25 in Alabama, according to the 247Sports Composite.

The running back's older brother, Dazon, plays basketball at UCF. He played for Alabama in the 2018-19 season. Ingram also plays varsity basketball for St. Paul's Episcopal.
