Police release name of man killed in April 20 shooting, suspect arrested

Mount Pleasant police officers respond to a shooting while bystanders watch from across the street April 20 at The Edge at 1815.

Mount Pleasant Police officers arrested a suspect from the shooting that took place around 6 p.m. April 20 at 700 Edgewood Dr. The suspect has been lodged in the Isabella County Jail awaiting arraignment, according to a press release from the city.

Police also confirmed the man who was killed was 21-year-old Raven Tre-Von Edelen. He was a former CMU student from Wyoming, Michigan, according to the Central Michigan University Registrar's Office.
