A group of marchers participate in the Martin Luther King Day CommUNITY March Jan. 20 South Washington Street.

Central Michigan University's annual week-long celebration of Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and legacy hosted by Multicultural Academic Student Services will take place during the week of Jan. 18.

Five events taking place Monday through Friday will honor MLK by educating and inspiring attendees. Each event will take place via Webex or Instagram Live.

“A week like this is so important because it helps us think about the way we impact the world,” said Wade Tomson, Assistant Director of MASS. “It puts us all in the place where we have to think about our privileges and how we can use those for good.”
