The Bovee University Center is across the street from Park Library and offers various student services, ample study space, and delicious food.

Beginning Monday, April 5, Events and Conference Services will accept reservations for limited on-campus events according to an April 2 email to campus.

Two venues, the University Center Rotunda and Auditorium, have been designated for small events.

  • The Rotunda can host 35 guests with one person per table. The room includes a projector, projector screen, sound system, and one microphone.
  • The auditorium is a theatre-style venue that seats 56 guests. The auditorium has a projector, projector screen, sound system, one microphone, and a stage.
  • Outdoor activities and events of no more than 25 individuals are permitted in open areas on campus grounds only if all attendees wear a face covering and maintain 6 feet of distance from others at all times.
  • The Small Sports Forum in the Student Activity Center is available for larger events with up to 240 participants. Reservations and a safety plan must be approved in advance.

Contact Events and Conference Services at 774-PLAN for specific details, set up information and equipment costs.

Any additional equipment not included in the standard set-up of any venue will be the responsibility of the group reserving the space.

Only CMU students, faculty and staff may attend on-campus activities. Attendees are still required to wear a face-covering and maintain 6 feet of distance from others at all times.
