Park Library activities and extended hours for fall exams

The Charles V. Park Library is offering extended hours of operation, therapy dogs and study break activities to accommodate fall semester exams, scheduled Dec. 12 to 14.

The Park Library’s extended hours started Dec. 4 and will continue through Dec. 14.  

The current schedule is as follows: 

  • Dec. 8: 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Dec 9: 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Dec. 11: 12 p.m. to 12 a.m.
  • Dec. 12 to 14: 7:30 a.m. to 12 a.m.

The first floor North Study Room is open 24 hours during exam time with Central ID access until Dec. 21.  

Other group study areas that will be available during normal hours include:

The Copeland Suite (2nd floor), 3 East, the Adobe Digital Lounge (2nd floor), or book a group study room (1st, 3rd, and 4th floors)

For a quiet study area:

Mary Dow Reading Room (3rd floor), 1st floor Quiet Study Area, or book an individual study room (3rd floor).

Starting on Dec. 5, the second floor of the Park Library will offer activities including games, puzzles, legos and coloring, for students to use during study breaks.

Therapy dogs will be on campus on the second floor of the Park Library from Dec. 5 to 13.

Join the dogs on the 2nd Floor during the following times:

  • Mon, Dec 5: 1-3 pm and 7-9 pm
  • Tues, Dec 6: 1-3 pm and 7-9 pm
  • Wed, Dec 7: 1-3 pm and 7-9 pm
  • Thurs, Dec 8: 1-3 pm and 7-9 pm
  • Sun, Dec 11: 1-3 pm and 7-9 pm
  • Mon, Dec 12: 1-3 pm and 7-9 pm
  • Tues, Dec 13: 1-3 pm and 7-9 pm
