With game day right around the corner, here is everything you need to know about before Central Michigan football’s Saturday game against Wyoming.

Both teams enter the game 1-1 on the season coming off of narrow wins against Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) opponents.

The game is slated to start at 1 p.m., but the festivities of college game day begin much earlier at 10 a.m.

After the parking lots open at 9 a.m., CMU’s new ‘Fan Fest’ activity begins at 10 a.m.

Fan Fest will be located on the north end of Kelly/Shorts stadium and will include a kids zone, a live pregame show from outside the Chippewa Champions Center and food from Gold Post BBQ and Beer.

The Meijer Kids’ Zone will house activities for children of all ages, including bounce houses, face painting and other interactive activities.

Gold Post will be located at the Fabiano Brothers patio and will be open starting at 10 a.m. until the end of the third quarter.

At 10:53 a.m., the CMU football team will partake in the spirit walk, in which the team will walk from the west entrance of the Courtyard Marriott to the main doors of the Chippewa Champions Center alongside fans, the Marching Chips and the CMU dance and cheer teams.

At 12:50 p.m., the team will take the field with an appearance from the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe who will perform the annual tribal drum ceremony.

Students can enter the game for free using the Student Access Pass, rather than their student identification cards.

The game is expected to kickoff at 1:02 p.m.

At halftime, Central Michigan will celebrate its 72nd annual Band Day in which high school marching bands from across the state of Michigan will take the field alongside the CMU marching band to perform.
