People gather before the International Culture Expo begins, Friday, April 21 at the Campus Life Building, Mount Pleasant, Michigan. The expo was held 4 to 9 p.m.

The International Cultural Expo will present art, food, music and dances of different cultures to foster global understanding and connections. International Student Organization will hold the expo from noon to 3 p.m. on April 20 at Finch Field House.

The Expo welcomes around 50 different countries to showcase their identities, ISO President Joseph Marah said.

Presenters will have tables exhibiting paintings, sculptures and crafts of their cultures. Some of these individuals will have local dishes for tasting.

The stage for live music, dance and theater performances will be open to presenters to express their cultures. There will be opportunities to win prizes for the best cultural exhibit.

"We encourage people to come and represent," Marah said. "You are coming to represent your country to us."

To present your culture at the event or just be in attendance, RSVP on the ISO's page on Engage Central by Monday, April 15.
