Central Michigan University has issued a boil water advisory for residents of the Towers Community. The advisory remains in effect for all Towers Residents from 12 p.m. on Oct. 27 to 12 p.m. on Oct. 29.

The Office of Residence Life has recommended that students should not:

  • Drink water from the tap or water fountains
  • Use tap water to brush your teeth
  • Have water get in your eyes, nose or mouth

Bottled water will be made available at the Towers front desk. The Eatery will also remain open and will have bottled water available for all residents affected.

The boil advisory only impacts the Towers Community, and students across other academic and residence hall buildings can continue to use water as usual.
