Moore Media Records, in collaboration with the Justus League and WMHW-FM, hosts Monster Mash: A Halloween Concert Saturday, Oct. 29 at Wesley Church. Nidaria, the Non-Professionals, and Post Eden gave live performances and a costume contest was held.

The Office of Student Activities and Involvement hosts 'Legends of the Dark,' Friday Oct. 28, on CMU's campus. Returning for the 27th annual tour, 'Legends of the Dark' explores the many legends on CMU's north side of campus. 

GALLERY: March for Mahsa Amini and the Women of Iran

The College of Medicine Student Diversity Committee and SGA hosted the 'March for Mahsa Amini and the women of Iran,' Wednesday, Oct. 26, around CMU's campus. Medical students Arya Tavakoulnia and Kiara Timmerman organized the event to recognize the death of Mahsa Amini and the struggles Iranian women face.

Resident Assistant Alondra Garcia of Carey/Campbell halls hands out DIY las ofrendas kits to Towers residents, Thursday Oct. 27, in the Towers lobby.  Staff members Leticia Roman, Kirsten Moray, Antonea Harris, Remaz Abdelrhamn, and Garcia organized the kits and 'The Day of Dead Event' hosted on November 1st.

For the last 35 years, Robin and Larry Curtis have been extravagantly decorating their yard for Halloween. The yearly display almost came to an end until a neighbor encouraged them to continue their tradition that has spanned generations and brought joy to so many.

The Office of Student Activites and Involvement held a Sober in October event where students drink mocktails and try different activities wearing impairment goggles Tuesday, Oct. 25 in the Fabiano, Emmons, and Woldt lobby.

The Office of Student Activities and Involvement hosts a pumpkin carving/painting contest Monday, Oct. 24 in Wightman 200. All pumpkin entries are being voted on SAI's Instagram (@cmuactivities).

Threads Fashion Show holds a model call Friday, Oct. 21 in French Auditorium. Prospective models had headshots and measurements taken and had the chance to show their model walks to designers.

The Tenacious Theta Theta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. hosts a cupcake auction to raise money for Sickle Cell Anemia Friday, Oct. 14 in Pearce Hall.

The Office for Institutional Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion held a Soup and Substances event Tuesday, Oct. 11 in the Bovee University Center Rotunda. Dr. Jack Day talked about LGBTQ focused policies and school climate in honor of National Coming Out Day.
