APAHM Gather for the Culture
The Central Michigan University Multicultural Academic Student Services office hosted Gather for the Culture as part of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month events in Dine & Connect, Tuesday, April 15, 2025. The office brought in Emily Mai and her husband Winston Woida from Emily Mai's Pho & More restaurant to make students pho bo, fresh spring rolls and Vietnamese coffee. Mai's business is located in Midland, Michigan and she and her husband opened it a year and three weeks ago. Students got served their food and got to add toppings of their choice to the pho bo.
