Daryl and the Beans Concert
Daryl and the Beans rocked Anspach Hall during the Mount Pleasant stop of their World Domination Tour, celebrating the release of their second album, "Hunk Alert" on Thursday, April 16, 2026. The band is made up of CMU creative writing professors Robert Fanning, Jeffrey Bean and Darrin Doyle.
CMU student Juice Legend manned the drums. Fanning's daughter, Magdalena, opened the show with a few original songs.
The setlist featured an array of covers, parodies and orginal songs. Fans were able to purchase T-shirts and CD's before and after the show. All proceeds are dedicated to the Daryl and the Beans Award for CMU Creative Writing students.
