The Legacy of Black Veterans

Multicultural Academic Student Services hosts Valor and Resilience: The Legacy of Black Veterans as part of Black History Month events Monday, Feb. 12 in the Sarah and Daniel Opperman Auditorium. Junior Madison Coleman, who is a member of the Michigan Army National Guard, presented on the history, challenges, successes and impacts of Black veterans. She also spoke on her personal experiences. Lieutenant Colonel Leonard Rusher, a veteran, also shared his experiences and answered questions from audience members.
