Social Justice Walk
The Student Government Association, in partnership with the Multicultural Academic Student Services, hosts the Social Justice Walk to educate Central Michigan University students on the microaggressions and racist comments that Black people face. With three different skits, students are able to see a play-by-play scenario of a microaggression. After watching the actors play out a racist scenario, the audience was then split into four breakout groups to talk about their experiences with discrimination and talk about how to avoid being discriminatory to others.
