Softball vs. Miami Ohio Game Two
Central Michigan University's softball team won the second game against Miami University 7-6 in Margo Jonker Stadium on Saturday, April 25, 2026. A productive first inning by the Chippewas was rounded off by an RBI double and single, putting CMU up 3-0 early. In a similar fashion to game one, it was 5-1 at the start of the fourth, but in CMU's favor this time around. An RBI single in the fourth by CMU junior Grace Koenig helped raise the score, but a late-game rally by the Redhawks let the game finish in dramatic fashion. The Chippewas clinched a Mid-American Conference tournament spot with this win making it their 14th consecutive. They look to finish the series on Sunday, April 26, 2026.
