A structure fire broke out at 9:52 p.m. on Sept. 15 at 209 W. Broadway Street. It was brought under control by 10:26 p.m. No injures were reported. "Significant smoke and fire damage occurred at 209 W. Broadway St., and buildings on either side sustained smoke damage and minor fire damage," read the press release from the Mount Pleasant Fire Department.
