Another competitive series for the Central Michigan baseball team bore no fruit, and the Chippewas suffered a series sweep against Kent State from March 13 to 15.
It took just over five hours for Central Michigan’s baseball team to reach victory against the Mercyhurst Lakers, 18-14, on March 10. Not a bad way for fans of the Chippewas to spend a Tuesday afternoon.
No leads were safe in the Mid-American Conference opening series for the Central Michigan baseball team. Each of the three road matchups against the Ball State Cardinals from Mar. 6-8 resulted in a comeback win, and the Chippewas suffered a 1-2 series loss.
