The Central Michigan Chippewas earned their first win of the Mid-American Conference after traveling to Oxford, Ohio Sunday afternoon. CMU emerged from a scoreless first half and rushed the net, scoring two goals in the matter of minutes. Junior forward Jenna Little scored both with powerful shots to the bottom of the net.

The Central Michigan Chippewas took on Eastern Michigan in its first Mid-American Conference game of the season resulting in a 0-1 loss on Thursday. The score remained scoreless into the second quarter until a penalty kick from the Eagles in the 72nd minute.

In a day celebrating its seniors, Central Michigan University soccer earned its first win of the season with a 2-1 victory over Purdue-Fort Wayne on Sunday. The Chippewas are left with a 1-1-3 record as they head into their Mid-American Conference opener game against Eastern Michigan on Thursday, Sept. 21.

Over the weekend, the Chippewas traveled to Louisville to take on the Cardinals in the fourth game of the season. After three consecutive ties, the Chippewas now remain 0-1-3 as they make their way back to Mount Pleasant for their second home game of the season on Sunday.
