The 2015 Chippewa squad, however, has started the season with a perfect 3-0 record, most recently steamrolling the Northern Illinois Huskies Thursday night in DeKalb, Illinois.

CMU entered the night ranked 22nd in the country and ended the night on top of NIU 39-3.

“(Team moral) is really good. Attitudes are really good. We’re are doing the things we emphasize in practice,” said Head Coach Tom Borelli. “We were real young last year so I think we’ve gained pretty good experience. We’re definitely more experienced this year.”
