The Isabella County Sheriff’s Office has released photos of a suspect in a series of cases involving mysterious notes and pornographic DVDs being left on the windshield of young females’ vehicles.

Sheriff Michael Main said an incident occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. March 24 in the parking lot of a Union Township Walmart, 4730 Encore Drive. The sheriff's office is asking for help in identifying the man photographed.

A deputy investigating the case was able to obtain photographs of the suspect from surveillance cameras, Main said.

Another photo shows a silver Chevrolet SUV,  similar to a vehicle that was captured by video surveillance during the investigation of a Target parking lot incident that occurred March 23.

The sheriff’s office is investigating approximately 10 incidents involving pornographic material and notes being left on people’s vehicles while they were inside a retail store, Main said. The majority of these incidents have happened in Mount Pleasant and Union Township.

Main said he believes one suspect is responsible for all of the incidents and that he has targeted young females with ages ranging from 16 to their early 20s.

If the suspect is caught, Main said he would be charged with distributing pornographic material, which is a misdemeanor. He added that the man responsible could be charged for more crimes.

If anyone has information regarding these incidents contact the Sheriff’s Office at 989-772-5911 or Isabella County Central Dispatch at the non-emergency number 989-773-1000.
