Central Michigan head coach, Sue Guevara, talks to her team during a timeout against Eastern Michigan on Jan. 26 at McGuirk Arena.

Near 3 p.m. on Jan. 29, Central Michigan University made the decision to close its campus on one day later due to severe weather conditions and wind chill warnings.

With both CMU and Bowling Green set to be shut down on Wednesday, a decision was made to postpone the women's basketball game between the pair of Mid-American Conference teams.

The Chippewas (14-5, 5-2 MAC) and Falcons (7-11, 0-7 MAC) were originally scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Jan. 30 at the Stroh Center in Ohio.

The game will be made up at 7 p.m. Feb. 20 and remains a road game for coach Sue Guevara's team.

CMU, Bowling Green and the MAC were all involved in the decision to postpone the event.
