With an Instagram following of more than 15,000 people, Dylan Hunter is certainly not your average 11-year-old. While many of his friends at Mount Pleasant's Sacred Heart Middle School spent the summer playing video games or watching YouTube videos, Hunter performed around the state as DJ Dill Pickle.

People of all ages are invited to participate in the Glow in the Park 5k. The 5k, hosted by the city of Mount Pleasant's Department of Parks and Recreation, begins at 8:30 p.m. Sept. 14 at Island Park. The race runs through Island park, Nelson Park, across Broadway Street and down to Mill Pond Park before looping back to the finish line at Island Park.
