Enderle records career-high 13 kills in loss Friday

While junior outside hitter Kaitlyn McIntyre stole the spotlight Friday recording her 1,000th career kill, junior middle blocker Hallie Enderle quietly recorded 13 kills.

Only McIntyre (17) recorded more kills than Enderle in the 3-1 loss to Western Michigan.

Enderle’s previous career-high for kills was 10 in the first match of the season, Aug. 30 against Oakland.

The Mankato, Minn. native totaled five kills in her 30 total attempts and also had one dig in the game.

Senior outside hitter and middle blocker Katie Schuette was third on the team with 11 kills, good enough for the fourth best in her career, dating back to 2009. Her four aces Friday was a career-high.

Friday was also the first time since the Oakland game that Schuette played more than three sets in a match.
