Bernie Sanders’ disconnection from the bigger issues
To the editor,
The democrats had their second debate this past Saturday 24 hours after one of the biggest terrorist attacks of the past few years. With Paris hanging over the heads of the national public, the dems did their best to not undermine the situation, unfortunately Bernie Sanders couldn’t help but screw it up.
Sanders, in the midst of the Paris tragedy, said the biggest threat to national security was not ISIS or terrorism in general. No, he said it was global warming. Oh, Bernie, when will it click with you? Is global warming important to discuss, yes, but how disrespectful could Sanders be? There is a time and a place and Sanders went 0 for 2.
Sorry, Bernie, but your eccentric personality can’t fix this mess.
