Student media has your back
As you get settled into your new home and navigate your new life at Central Michigan University, you will find, like most universities, that there is so much going on all. of. the. time. There are so many different things to be a part of, activities to do, games to watch and places to explore at the university and throughout Mount Pleasant.
That’s where student media comes in!
There are so many different ways to keep up with what’s going on around CMU. Here are just some of the ways to stay informed:
Central Michigan Life: Want to know what’s going on at CMU and the community around? Check us out! We are a national award winning student newspaper that reports on everything from CMU sports, events and news from the university and the community around us. And we don’t just report on news. We have shows and podcasts that are just for entertainment.

Moore Hall Television: Looking for student media you can watch? MHTV offers so many student-made shows like News Central, Sports Central and Dungeons and Dormrats. MHTV broadcasts shows made completely by students 24/7 on television, on Vimeo and, with some shows, through YouTube.
