Central Michigan wide reciever Kalil Pimpleton catches a pass and runs up the sideline against Toledo Nov. 29 at Kelly/Shorts Stadium.

Ticket prices for the Mid-American Conference championship game come at a discounted price for the first 500 students from Central Michigan.

The tickets are priced at $22, but students that show student identification can secure a ticket for just $10 by purchasing through the athletic department.

The Chippewas take on Miami (Ohio) on Saturday at Ford Field in Detroit for the MAC title game.

Ticket Central, where tickets can be purchased from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday, is in the atrium of the John G. Kulhavi Events Center, but tickets can also be secured over the phone at 1-888-FIRE-UP2 and online.

Those tickets can be picked up at 10 a.m. Saturday at Gate C of Ford Field. Gates open at 10:30 a.m. for the noon game.

There's also a pregame tailgate taking place at Punch Bowl Social in downtown Detroit from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the day of the contest.
